Sources unite on Webb's slim lead

AP reports 30,000 votes yet to be counted in Fairfax county.

The commonwealth's count now shows Webb with a slight lead: 1,148,750 to 1,146,952. 18 precincts have yet to report in this tally. It is very, very close.

Hi C.E.,
It seems Jim Webb has won the Virginia race- and the narrow margin in his favor might widen in the coming hours...
Anyhoo, as they say in the old country (Lebanon), it's "Mabrooq" [Thank God for his blessings] for the House, and "Mabrooq Salaf" ['Salaf' means "in advance"] for the Senate.
Let's hope George Walker and George Féliïx have enough decency left not to ask for a recount!
;))

So my friend what do you think of us here in VA? Have we come through...just bearly?

Now I wonder if Allen will drag the state and the nation through a drawn out recount process that for some reason will not conclude until near Christmas. We just went through that for the AG race last year.
