Veterans' Day 2006

I've been thinking how to mark Veterans' Day on this blog. Presently, I have three friends deployed in Iraq. They are doing well, but I still think of them every day.

To mark this imporant holiday, I want to be a little light-hearted though. Here's the popular short "Lazy Ramadi" from two Indiana vets, now home safe and not quite sound.

Their website is crap, but it is pretty funny and worth a look. Also, make a donation to mark the holiday. These soldiers recommend either the Disabled American Veterans or the Wounded Soldier Foundation.

This is a very upbeat way to commemorate Veterans's Day. It is particularly nice to feature those who have served and are safely home. Thanks for your kind thoughts on my post.

Copy Editor,

Can you get a date of production on this? I would love to know when it was shot and put together.

Great stuff.
