Zarqawi hinted at in Jordan bombings

The CNN story hints at Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Asked who is suspected of masterminding the attacks, one State Department official cited al-Zarqawi.

Rand Beers on Hardball believes this could have been Zarqawi as well. He also said that the roll up of more than a dozen apparent terrorist operatives in Australia could indicate an offensive underway.

Perhaps Zarqawi is following the instructions from a (controversial as to its authenticity) letter supposedly from Ayman al-Zawahiri.

As for the letter's instructions, the translation made available from our government has the spread of Iraqi jihad occuring at a later stage:

The third stage: Extend the jihad wave to the secular countries neighboring Iraq.
